Advocate Nomgcobo Jiba completed her B juris in 1987 folloowed by an LLB in 1889 at the Walter Sisulu University,back then know as the University of Transkei.1n 1994 she obatined an Industrial Relations Diploma from Damelin College.The year 1996,she graduated in LLM in Commercial Law

 Her profession career started in 1988 Peddie,Eastern Cape,where  she worked as a prosecutor in a magistrate's court.She then-after continued her career in the Magistrate' court in Tsolo and Mthatha in the same capacity.

in 1997 she moved to Pretoria and worked for an accounting firm Deloitte&Touche a s senior Forensic consultant.Her core function was forensic investigation and analysis which often invlved the flow of fund analysis,to detect fraud and corruption

 Later the same year she joinmed the then Investigating Directorate for Serious Economic Offenses {IDSEO} in Pretorai as a Senior Stae Advocate.In 2001 the IDSEO was disbanded and the Directorate of Specail Operation {DSO} was established.Later the same year she was appointed a Deputy Director of Public Prosecution.She is now responsible foe National Prosecutions Service and the National Specialized Prosecution Services
Adv Jiba qualifications were questioned when all advocates were asked to supply copies of their qualification,and prove their advocate's admission certificates.They 28 August 2014 the  Sunday Independent  .That led to a close look at her career to date.
